_**PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER - FULLTIME POSITION**_

Silvan Australia are a family owned business and are recognised Australia wide as an industry leader. Silvan supplies to Australia's largest hardware chain.

We are looking for a Full-time Production Assembler at our **Keysborough**site in VIC.

Can do attitude and someone who enjoys being part of an energetic team.

**Skills / Experience** will be positively viewed:

- Assembly - assemble products in a timely and efficient manner according to verbal and documented instructions and given specifications.
- Checking & Testing - When requested, ensure finished products are checked and tested with all defects rectified. All testing results to be recorded on documentation provided.
- All labour times are accurately recorded.
- Health and Safety - comply with H&S requirements. Ensure H&S issues are highlighted, reported and resolved in a relevant and appropriate timeframe.
- Workplace maintenance - ensure tools and equipment are in proper working order, accounted for and any defective or lost items are segregated and reported in a timely manner. Ensure the production area is always clean and tidy.
- Diligence - alert supervisor and/or other staff to issues and discrepancies as a priority and contribute to their resolution.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment within set timeframes.
- Ability to lift some heavy products.
- Unloading of shipping containers.
- Energetic & self-motivated, and able to work in a team.
- Physical capability to perform the inherent requirements of the role.
- An understanding of OH & S requirements in a warehouse and production environment.
- Forklift Licence advantageous but not essential.

- Appropriate level of mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to maintain work area to ensure optimal process efficiency.
- Good problem-solving attributes.
- Familiarity with hand tools and production processes.
- Ability to read and understand documented work instructions.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Communication and problem resolution skills.
- Physical capacity to perform the inherent requirements of the position.
- Self motivated and able to work unsupervised to required timeframes and expectations.
- Energetic work ethic.
- Team and customer focused.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.06pm. (Knock off earlier in the day).
