**About the role**

**_Key objectives & responsibilities include:_**
- Identify competency requirements for equipment and work processes in Production.
- Creating structured training material in the form of presentations and learner guides.
- Conduct assessment of competencies on the workforce.
- Acting as a technical training coach for new starters or less competent personnel.

**_Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:_**

**Essential**
- TAE40116: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision.
- Highly developed coaching, mentoring, and teaching skills.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail

**Desirable**
- Experience in Army Watercraft.
- Experience with Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL).
- Trade Certificate (Electrical, Mechanical, Fabrication or Fit-out).
- Current HRWL, DG, LF, WP, CN
- Ideally 2 years' experience working in the industry.
- Familiarity with Shipbuilding processes, systems, equipment, and the ability to train and assess this content in a professional manner.
- MS Office Skills - Intermediate level proficiency
