About the role
We're seeking a Business Resilience Manager to lead and advise on the implementation and ongoing management of business resilience activities across the region and seek opportunities to integrate with and promote other resilience-related strategies such as cyber security, sustainability, social license and supplier resilience.
- This is a unique position where you'll partner with leaders across our corporate and operations groups to directly influence and drive change.

Day-to-day, you will:
- You'll be responsible for the delivery of Transurban Group's (Transurban or the Group) business resilience framework across a designated region (e.g., Victoria & Corporate, NSW, Queensland and North America)-
- Lead a program of continuous improvement activities (exercises, tests and training) which help to embed response management capability within the region at all levels of response: operational, tactical and strategic-
- Maintain guidelines and training materials to support the development of response management plans and procedures and perform related planning and preparedness activities-
- Proactively guide and inform teams across the business as they continue to develop operational excellence in their business resilience practice-
- Collaborate with other functions, such as Technology and Cyber teams, so they can deliver business resilience-related activities and practices-
- Be a part of the Risk conversation to understand and check we have the plans and capability to respond to current and emerging threats- This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Demonstrated experience in conducting a range of exercises (e.g. field, functional and desktop)-
- Ability to influence and negotiate with others while also being able to develop trust and build rapport-
- Ability to think strategically with strong planning and organisational skills-
- Demonstrated experience in response management including planning and coordination in operational and corporate environments across a variety of levels (i.e. strategic, operational etc)-
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex information into easily understandable terms-
- Strong presentation and training skills-
- Demonstrate resilience in their work with the ability to work well in a fast paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment.With a career at Transurban, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:
