If you're keen to be part of our bustling summer season and looking for consistent casual work into the year, we have fantastic opportunities available for you to earn some extra cash as a Casual Sales Assistant.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Creating an exceptional customer experience for each visitor by actively listening to their needs, sharing product insights, and exceeding their expectations.
- Handling produce and showcasing it beautifully in our window displays and to customers.
- Responding to customer inquiries via telephone with professionalism and accuracy.
- Efficiently preparing customer orders, ensuring they are ready on time and as per the customers' request.
- Operating the point-of-sale system and handling transactions smoothly.
- Contributing to a fun and productive team experience.
- Ensuring seamless communication with the Butchers to guarantee customer requirements are met.
- Keeping the shop and equipment well-maintained through general cleaning and upkeep.

- Friendly, warm approach and positive attitude.
- You've got a background in customer service, particularly in food.
- Extra points if you've worked in meat or poultry retail
- Great communicator - chatting comes easy to you, and you've got the gift of adapting well to different people and situations.
- A true team player - supports their team get things done and hates the "that's not my job" catchphrase as much as we do
- Super reliable and displays a high degree of integrity
- Have a keen interest in food and cooking and want to learn about produce and its preparation.
