Read all Ministerial correspondence and provide advice to Ministerial staff prior to assigning it to the relevant portfolio area with what action is required. Provide a quality control and advisory service for Ministerial briefs and correspondence to ensure they meet the needs of the Minister's office and comply with Department and Government-wide guidelines and procedures. Collect and analyse issues to determine implications from a departmental perspective and facilitate appropriate responses in accordance with structured methods and guidelines. Provide tailored reports for the Minister's office on correspondence and briefing items as needed, to promote the efficient progression of material through relevant channels
