In House Commercial Lawyer - Commercial Law Senior Legal Counsel - In house role - Commercial Law About Our Client The client is a global client.
Job Description Act as a key legal advisor to the commercial, procurement, marketing, regulatory, and operations teams.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements - including supply, distribution, licensing, manufacturing, R&D, marketing, and strategic collaboration agreements.Help structure and execute commercial deals and partnerships that support innovation, growth, and operational efficiency.Provide timely, business-focused legal guidance on product launches, advertising, privacy, TGA and ACCC compliance, and general commercial matters.Support contract lifecycle management and drive improvements in legal processes and templates.Work cross-functionally with regional legal teams and external counsel on local and international projects.Keep key stakeholders informed on legal risk, contract issues, and regulatory developments relevant to the business.The Successful Applicant A qualified lawyer with 8+ years' post-qualification experience - ideally gained in both private practice and in-house.Strong experience in commercial law and contracts, with a practical understanding of how businesses operate.Confidence in working independently and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.A proactive communicator who can translate complex legal concepts into simple, business-friendly advice.Someone with high attention to detail, but who also sees the bigger picture.Comfortable building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.What's on Offer Be part of a values-driven, collaborative culture where legal is seen as a business enabler.Work on high-impact, cross-functional projects in fast-evolving, purpose-led industries.Competitive salary package and long-term career development opportunities.
