We are currently seeking an inclusive and collaborative Reliability Manager to be based at our Tip Top Canning Vale site. Reporting to the Site Leader, this is a dynamic and hands on role that is responsible for leading, coaching and directing activities within our Reliability team.
Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of the Reliability Manager role is to drive our agenda of operational excellence, cost reduction and increased productivity.
The Reliability Manager is responsible for all site maintenance activities and includes but not limited to:
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure plan performance and business objectives are achieved
- Identifying and managing asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant operations and ensuring continuity of production
- Responsible for team development, driving team engagement and a culture of continuous improvement
- Provide the leadership, structure and resources to improve safety to best-in-class levels
- Ensure 24/7 coverage for maintenance related issues and provide timely and effective solutions to plant breakdown situations
- Provide the day-to-day operational leadership to direct teams and indirect teams as required, ensuring good communication is maintained and providing accountability
- Plan, manage and execute Asset Health plan delivering Repairs and Maintenance (R&M) expenditure to budget.
- Manage minor Site Capital projects to plan delivery and contribute to Capital planning process for site and engagement with National Engineering team as required to successful project delivery
- Drive performance, accountability and engagement within Reliability services with a key focus on building capability
- Ensure food safety and quality requirements are adhered to
- In conjunction with the leadership team, continuously review systems and processes to improve key operational efficiency measures
- Support production and site activities to optimise productivity and minimise downtime
- Plan all maintenance work to align with plant and resource availability
About You
- Minimum 3-5 years leading a Maintenance team in a fast paced environment
- Mechanical, electrical, or engineering background
- Demonstrated effectiveness in fostering team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
- Strong safety mindset in all facets of work
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing practices
- Food industry experience will be highly regarded
- Strong ability to build effective internal and external working relationships at all levels
- Sound people leadership skills
