**About the Company**

This NSW government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and innovative experience within the development of New South Wales government. Our client is looking for a Assistant Communications Officer from a diverse background who are graduates, soon to be graduates, or those looking for a career change.

**About the Role**
- Assist with the preparation of communications content including writing and editing website and intranet copy, social media copy and newsletter copy.
- Undertake a range of communications activities to support DCJ policy and operational priorities and to communicate key messages relating to initiatives and service delivery to staff and the people of NSW.
- Undertake research to provide input into the development of communications programs and materials.
- Publish content to the websites and intranets using content management systems, and help to improve the accessibility of content through use of plain, easy read language and document accessibility checks.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and evaluations for managers and other key stakeholders, including project status updates, website and social media performance analytics, budgets and discussion papers, that are timely, accurate and relevant.
- Provide day-to-day administrative and project support, including developing and monitoring communication project plans, meeting with stakeholders and coordinating resources
