Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead a multi-disciplined construction team and drive performance by utilizing project management principles and functional enablement to deliver on the project's/program's commitments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Enable and empower the construction team to deliver to cost, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Utilizing Project Management principles, develop a culture of best practice in construction management, project delivery and leadership.
  • Identify, develop, and implement a construction plan that will ensure outputs are delivered consistently.
  • Develop and performance manage against an approved and baselined schedule.
  • Safety leadership.

Key Requirements:

  • Essential: 3+ years' experience in a Project/Production Leadership role, 10+ years' experience in the shipbuilding industry, good management skills and team building capability, good communications skills, and proven stakeholder management ability.
  • Desirable: Qualification in Project Management, experience in a Project Management role or equivalent, a good understanding of Earned Value Management, knowledge of ship operation and management, knowledge of facility management.
