Job Overview

The Project Lead - Infrastructure Delivery will play a key role in delivering major infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead daily engineering and delivery oversight, coordinating major construction packages (e.g. civil infrastructure, earthworks, and structures)
  2. Mentor junior engineers and site supervisors—overseeing method statements, ensuring quality controlled delivery and enforcing HSEQ compliance
  3. Ensure smooth handover between design and construction packages, managing queries and constructability reviews in partnership with design teams
  4. Lead cost-control and claims management—reporting progress, conducting quantity checks, tracking delay events, and collaborating with the Commercial team to forecast cost-to-complete
  5. Hold responsibility for subcontractor performance, including variations, disputes and quality assurance
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the civil construction industry with a Civil Engineering degree
  • Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and suppliers for site works
  • Attends to the scope of work assigned with defined work methods and delivers the work in accordance with total project schedule
  • Experience in coordinating and/or running toolbox meetings, pre-start meetings, site inductions and a demonstrated commitment to HSEQ practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills which enable you to assist in resolution of client and key stakeholder's concerns
  • Experience in guiding and leading a high performing team
