Facilities officer position available | Temp to Perm | NFP Organisation in Melbourne Northern Suburbs

The primary function of this role is to assist with the delivery of the facilities services and contribute to the continual improvement of the facility management procedures and the good functioning of the fleet management

**Your new role**

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong focus on customer service and a willingness to learn for the position of Facilities officer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and coordinating various building management tasks. Your attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and ability to handle a high volume of enquiries will be crucial to your success.
- Assist with building management works including coordination of maintenance works, liaison with external contractors and/or trades
- Logging of maintenance issues for the building and coordinating service providers
- Coordinate contractors
- Oversee the administration of leases.
- Be able to visits the different site and make sure that everything is running smoothly

**What you'll need to succeed**

Experience in a similar role, preferably in the public sector, is desirable. The following requirements are essential for success in this role:

- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at varying levels of the business
- Having good sense of urgency
- Being able to jump easily from one task to another
- Having a strong can-do attitude
- Being passionate about providing a strong customer service
