Facilities Officer

The Secure Facilities Officer is responsible for the secure operation of the of SCS facilities located at both Ascot Vale and Maribyrnong including the operation of security systems, fire safety, maintenance and that up-to-date policy frameworks and processes exist. The Secure Facilities Officer is a pivotal contact person for maintenance and contractors internal and external to the department.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Operate as an effective team member in a team environment and deliver a quality, timely and effective customer service.
- Assist in the provision and oversight of maintenance services, the timely and efficient provision of office accommodation requirements and the day-to-day management of security and cleaning contract services.
- Provide information and assistance on processes, policy and procedural guidelines and other administrative and general office functions including maintenance works associated with office facilities.
