Software Test Manager
This leadership role is seeking an experienced Software Test Manager to oversee the verification and validation of safety-critical systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test management, with expertise in testing safety-critical systems aligned with ISO 13849, IEC 61508 & ISO 26262 standards.
Key responsibilities include leading a global team of test engineers, implementing test strategies, plans and methodologies, and overseeing test design, automation, execution, and defect management for embedded and application-level software.
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, minimum 10 years' experience in software testing including 5 years in a leadership role, and extensive experience in embedded systems, control software, and safety validation.
Additionally, the candidate should have strong knowledge of model-based testing – HIL and SIL testing environments, as well as experience with test management and requirement tools (DOORS, Polarion, Jira, ALM).
Job Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering.
Minimum 10 years' experience in software testing including 5 years in a leadership role.
Extensive experience in testing safety-critical systems in line with ISO 13849, IEC 61508 and ISO 26262.
Strong background in test automation, CI/CD, and safety validation tools.
Extensive knowledge of model-based testing – HIL and SIL testing environments.
Experience with test management and requirement tools (DOORS, Polarion, Jira, ALM).
