Software Test Manager
$170-190K + Super

Our client is a market leader worldwide specialising in autonomous solutions. They are regarded as pioneers in their space and have a journey of unprecedented growth over the next few years.

Responsibilities

- Lead a global team of test engineers focussing on verification and validation of safety-critical systems.
- Implement test strategies, plans and methodologies aligned with ISO 13849, IEC 61508 & ISO 26262 compliance requirements.
- Oversee test design, automation, execution, and defect management for embedded and application-level software.
- Ensure validation of safety-related software components, including hardware-software integration testing.
- Implement test automation tools, continuous integration/continuous testing (CI/CT) pipelines, and metrics dashboard.

Your Background/Experience

- Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in software testing including 5 years in a leadership role.
- Solid Demonstrated experience in testing safety-critical systems in line with ISO 13849, IEC 61508 and ISO 26262.
- Extensive experience in embedded systems, control software and safety validation.
- Extensive experience with test management and requirement tools (DOORS, Polarion, Jira, ALM)
- Strong background in test automation, CI/CD, and safety validation tools.
- Extensive knowledge of model-based testing – HIL and SIL testing environments.
