**Job Description**:
We have a Permanent Part-Time (2 days) Digital & Social Producer - 60 Minutes position based in our Sydney office. Reporting to the Digital and Social Lead - 60 Minutes, this role is responsible for creating the program's digital content across 9Now, social media, YouTube and the 60 Minutes website. You will be responsible for creating great content to grow the program's digital audience and engagement, maintaining high-standards in the way 60 Minutes content is delivered both locally and internationally. This position sits on the News & Sport Social department and you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the wider department.

You are an emerging digital journalist with experience in writing, video and social media. You know how to write compelling copy while also creating video and graphics content with the help of our in-house producers, editors and designers. You have some experience running YouTube channels and social media accounts, knowing what makes the audience tick on each platform. You know all about new forms of digital media and are a news and current affairs junkie, with a nose for a story and an angle.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Working with journalists, producers and editors to create bespoke digital content
- Production and editing of video content for digital platforms and social media accounts
- Customising existing content for vertical video platforms
- Writing articles for the 60 Minutes website
- Managing 60 Minutes' digital presence across on and off network platforms, including moderation
- Meeting and exceeding audience and revenue targets
- Weekend and after hours work

**Qualifications**:
**Essential qualities and skills**:

- A journalism degree or equivalent
- Experience working on a news or current affairs program or website
- Solid writing skills, with an understanding of defamation law and social media moderation
- Working knowledge of video products in digital media (Youtube, Facebook, TikTok, Reels, Shorts etc)
- Practical experience with Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Pro
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines
- A passionate storyteller with strong attention to detail
- A genuine interest in News and Current Affairs
- Experience with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite & Brandwatch highly desirable

- You create excellence with humility while acting with empathy and care
