**Job Description**:
The Marketing, Communications & Proposition Development team provides strategic and operational support to TAL's Group Life & Investments business through the design, development and delivery of B2B and B2B2C activities.

The Tender Communications and Marketing Specialist is a newly created contract role initially for a six month FTC. It has been created to support the Marketing & Communications team to access expertise and to ensure the successful delivery of several strategic projects for the Group Life & Investments business.

We have recently completed a review of our strategic proposition amongst super funds. As a result, we have defined a new CVP framework, with key messages and proof points that will support TAL's future growth. One of the most critical elements of the CVP rollout will be ensuring consistent delivery of messaging across all channels, including new business tenders and across marketing communications channels. Your role will be responsible for supporting with the development of communications and content to support existing partner and new business tenders. You will be required to review all tender communications, streamline disparate content, and ensure alignment with messaging across all deliverables.

You will be a natural storyteller with the ability to simplify complex concepts, taking advantage of your experience and knowledge across financial services to compel key audiences to take action.

The role will be responsible for:
**Communications and content development**
- Developing and managing the creative development of content for all key tender audiences across our superannuation fund partners.
- Working with internal teams to craft messages and produce compelling content which includes written, video and photography across tender submissions, presentations and on tender websites.
- Developing clear and concise short and long form written content ensuring all copy is proofed and edited for grammar, spelling, tone of voice and overall quality.
- Proofreading materials to ensure all communications are on brand and aligned to the needs of the partner
- Proactively look for opportunities for content creation that can be developed for the key audience group and leveraged across tenders.

**Relationship and stakeholder management**
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Group partnerships, Product & Pricing, Claims, Underwriting, Marketing and Communications, Proposition Development, Member Services, Brand & Communications, Legal and Risk.
- Develop and maintain relationships with graphic designers and agency partners.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- 7 years' experience in an editing, communications or content production role or similar
- Experience working in Financial Services, specifically Insurance or Superannuation would be highly desirable
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, journalism (or other relevant field) along with copywriting or business writing qualification and/or experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Word and Powerpoint) and familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics or similar)
- Excellent B2B and B2B2C marketing and communications including producing digital content and persuasive online copy
- Proven experience working with complex product, stakeholder or technological environments
- Extensive understanding of communications principles
- Excellent communication, creative and presentation skills
- Demonstrates ownership and thrives on accountability
- Highly organised and have the ability to manage and influence key stakeholders across the business
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail (exceptional grammar and spelling are important)
