Dispatch / Adhoc Requirements
Experience in firewall replacement
Experience in handling desktop and network issues
Capable of installing and upgrading operating systems
Install patches
Software and hardware break-fix
Well-versed network engineer (CCNA or above certification is a plus)
Basics of WiFi
Basics of networks, LAN, WAN, switch and router configuration
Install and administer MS Office
Business English with local language
Tools to Carry
Fully charged laptop with Windows 8 or 10 operating system and admin rights
Cisco console cable (DB9 to RJ45 or USB to RJ45). If using USB adapter, ensure drivers are properly installed
Laptop should have the following programs/software installed: Putty, TeamViewer, TFTP server
Screwdriver set
Internet data card
Must have console cable and laptop with ability to console into Cisco router and use WebEx
Note: This is on-call for dispatch/adhoc work; backfill projects and the scope of work varies by client. The above is the general job description.
