
Quality And Completions Manager

We are currently seeking a Quality and Completions Manager supports the development, implementation, management and monitoring of the Project's Quality and Completion management systems, strategies and initiatives, ensuring the Parramatta Light Rail Project delivery obligations comply with the Contract Deed and appropriate handover of the projects achieved successfully.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Assist to develop, implement and continually improve project-specific quality and completion management, procedures and tools, to achieve successful project delivery and handover;
- Ensure all completion requirements and deliverables are identified in the project management documentation including but not limited to plans, procedures, ITPs and procurement agreements;
- Identify issues relating to completions and provide assistance at forums such as project meetings, subcontractor meetings, toolbox talks and other relevant forums;
- Develop and maintain suitable register(s) to document the quality deliverables along with appropriate tracking tools;
- Development and updating of the Quality Management Plan;
- Implementation of the Quality Policy and IMS, ensuring compliance to AS/NZS ISO 9001;
- Establish the quality framework and monitor and report compliance to the Senior Management Team, TfNSW and the IC;
- Endorse timely corrective and preventive action and encourage a culture of continuous improvement;
- Ensure that the audit schedule is implemented and operative;
- Monitor quality performance trends;
- Manage the Project Management Plan update process;
- Work with the project team to resolve quality issues. Escalate quality issues to the Project Director as required;
- Manage the defect rectification process.
**Minimum Experience and Requirements**:
- Possess a recognized tertiary qualification relevant to the position and have recent relevant experience in quality management on projects similar to Parramatta Light Rail (PLR) Stage1;
- Have at least fifteen years' quality management experience, with extensive experience in the development and implementation of quality management systems and plans;
- Experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects(preferably rail); and
- Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically).
