Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year, Perth Airport plays a significant role in providing economic, social and cultural benefits to West Australians.We strive to provide a lasting first impression and a seamless, quality travel experience for our domestic, interstate and international visitors.The Perth Airport estate is spread over 2100 hectares and has developed a $1.3 billion portfolio of existing industrial premises and significant vacant land holdings.We service a truly diverse community and play an important role in strengthening cultural, family and social bonds while supporting business, tourism and leisure travel.Our team is currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Category Manager - ProjectsWhat you'll do:Provide Category Management through sourcing, contracts, and contractor management services.Undertake full lifecycle activities including sourcing strategy development, procurement planning, go to market, assessment, negotiation, recommendation, award, implementation, and contract management.Support and influence ESG initiatives.Leverage knowledge of category management and supply markets to achieve competitive advantage by seeking out improvement opportunities, reducing waste, and increasing value for money.Challenge the status quo.About you:With relevant qualifications, you will have demonstrated experience in procurement, logistics, and/or supply chain.
You can evidence category management sourcing and contracts experience, along with practical experience in negotiating and confirming negotiated outcomes into contracts.You drive for continuous improvement and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you influence stakeholders, develop effective working relationships, and drive for results whilst protecting Perth Airport's procurement interests.About Us:We offer a dynamic and supportive team culture, a contemporary workplace with great facilities, and a modern approach to work/life integration, with flexible work times.
