Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year, Perth Airport plays a significant role in providing economic, social and cultural benefits to West Australians.We strive to provide a lasting first impression and a seamless, quality travel experience for our domestic, interstate and international visitors.Our team is currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Category Manager - Projects.What you'll do:Provide Category Management through sourcing, contracts, and contractor management services.Undertake full lifecycle activities including sourcing strategy development, procurement planning, go to market, assessment, negotiation, recommendation, award, implementation, and contract management.Support and influence ESG initiatives.Leverage knowledge of category management and supply markets to achieve competitive advantage.Seek out improvement opportunities, reduce waste, and increase value for money.About you:With relevant qualifications, you will have demonstrated experience in procurement, logistics, and/or supply chain.
You can evidence category management sourcing and contracts experience.
You will have gained experience in sourcing, contracts, market research, 'should cost' analysis, and procurement planning/sourcing strategies along with practical experience in negotiating and confirming negotiated outcomes into contracts.You drive for continuous improvement and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you influence stakeholders, develop effective working relationships, and drive for results whilst protecting Perth Airport's procurement interests.About Us:We offer a dynamic and supportive team culture, a contemporary workplace with great facilities, and a modern approach to work/life integration, with flexible work times.
