Job Description:
As a Regional Operations Manager, you will oversee and optimise the operations across multiple stations within the region. Your role will involve executing strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance, improving health and safety and driving growth and efficiency at the station level. You will work closely with station managers and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives and enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Growth at Station Level: Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and improve performance at individual stations.
- Execute FSA Expansion: Lead the expansion of Forward Sortation Area (FSA) initiatives across the region.
- Execute Budget Plans: Develop, manage, and execute budget plans to meet financial targets.
- Cost Reduction at Station Level: Identify and implement cost reduction strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Procurement Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.
- Identify health and safety opportunities and drive continuous improvement
- IDC Performance at Station Level: Monitor and enhance the performance of Independent Delivery Contractors (IDC) at each station.
- IDC Business Model Compliance: Ensure compliance with IDC business models and practices.
- IDC KPI Improvement: Improve key performance indicators (KPIs) for IDC operations.
- Maximize Station Productivity: Implement initiatives to maximise productivity and efficiency at each station.
- Execute MOP and Emerging Products: Manage the implementation of MOP (Methods of Procedure) and introduce emerging products and services.
- ROM Succession Planning: Develop and execute succession plans for Regional Operations Managers (ROM).
- SOP Performance: Ensure all stations adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Audit Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with operational standards and policies.
- Enhance Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Programs: Continuously improve daily, weekly, and monthly operational programs.
- Cascade and Translate Core Values: Promote and instil company core values across all levels of station operations.
- Understand the Competition: Stay informed about the competitive landscape and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure Station Cross-Training at All Levels: Implement cross-training programs to ensure staff versatility and preparedness.
- Proactively Think on Behalf of the Customer: Anticipate customer needs and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Be a Servant Leader: Lead by example, fostering a culture of support, engagement, and growth.
- Support and Engage in College Job Fairs: Represent the company at college job fairs to attract and recruit top talent.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a regional or multi-site capacity.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent strategic planning and execution abilities.
- Proficiency in budget management and cost control.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and compliance.
- Ability to analyse and improve KPIs.
- Strong understanding of SOPs and audit processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
