**About Them**
Our client is based nationally with a foot print globally, their business units are fast paced and dynamic environments. Currently experiencing exciting growth due to recent acquisitions, they are seeking an experienced Safety Professional to ensure their new Erskine Park distribution warehouse is set up for safe success.

**The Role**
This role will see you come onboard and evaluate the current requirements of the site to ensure compliance, best practice and the transition of culture to the new owner.

Key tasks will see you:

- Implementing policies, systems and processes to minimise risks and to achieve compliance
- Implementing, maintaining and improving Safety & Health programs, systems, tools, and training to support compliance
- Monitoring and identifying actions resulting from the incident management review process
- Leading and supporting Operational Managers with positive strategies to promote a positive and resilient SH&E culture for all stakeholders and visitors
- Liaising with key stakeholders internally and externally in the event of an incident to share investigation outcomes, provide appropriate communication, prevent recurrence and mitigate further liability
- Fostering the value of inclusion of SH&E considerations and controls in all management processes to champion a safety culture and a safe working environment

To be successful in this role you will have
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders and support their change journey
- Strong knowledge of distribution centres, supply chain / logistics through health and safety or in an operational capacity.
- Qualification in OHS or equivalent
- Advanced skills in investigations
- Comfortable with working autonomously and independently
