**About Them**
Our client is based nationally with a footprint globally, their business units are fast paced and dynamic environments. They are seeking a Safety Lead for this newly created role to support the development and implementation of new strategies and initiatives for a new distribution centre with state of the art technology.

**The Role**
- Lead, coach and mentor direct reports, creating a customer first culture that delivers great results
- Support and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion in the workplace
- Build and promote a team environment focused on working collaboratively to achieve team and distribution centres objectives
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of processes and equipment to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Implementing efficient practices and adhering to fit-for-purpose principles in delivering solutions and outcomes

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in OHS, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Safety Lead in a distribution, supply chain or logistics environment (or similar)
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
