We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.Elderly Care is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers to join our dedicated team in Kawana Waters, Queensland.
This part-time role (432 hours per fortnight) will see you providing high-quality care and support to our elderly residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
ResponsibilitiesAssisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobilityMonitoring and recording residents' health, dietary and personal care needsEngaging residents in social, recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance their wellbeingMaintaining a safe, clean and comfortable living environment for residentsCommunicating effectively with residents, their families and the broader care teamAdhering to all company policies, procedures and quality standards
QualificationsA Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualificationDemonstrated experience in providing person-centred care to elderly residentsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationshipsA caring, compassionate and empathetic natureThe ability to work collaboratively as part of a teamA commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
