Nauru Airlines is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager for Technical Services, including Reliability Engineering and Maintenance Programs to lead and manage our Technical Services team within the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO).
This is a full-time management position based at our Brisbane Airport office.
You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and managing compliance obligations under CASA and IOSA frameworks, and leading investigations into adverse trends with a proactive approach to safety and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesCASA Responsible Manager (Regulatory Post Holder)Manage the end-to-end Nauru Airlines Technical Services, Maintenance Programs, Reliability Program, including planning, execution, and continuous improvement.Lead the analysis of reliability data, trend monitoring, and root cause investigations for technical issues.Direct and mentor engineering staff involved in reliability analysis and investigations.Coordinate cross-functional responses to reliability concerns with CAMO, Maintenance, Flight Operations, and external providers.Ensure full compliance with Safety and Security Management Systems (SMS/SeMS), including participation in the Emergency Response Plan.Provide technical leadership and strategic advice to improve operational efficiency and safety outcomes.Management of technical services team for review of Airframe, Avionics and Equipment Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletin, Service Letter & other Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness (ICAs) for compliance and incorporationEnsure process and procedures are in place and monitor for continuous improvement to support their role.Management of Technical RecordsEstablish KPI's and undertake personnel reviews as required.Other duties as directed from time to time by the HOA/CAM or applicable leadership.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Ability to hold a CASA Responsible Manager (Regulatory Post Holder)At least 5 years' experience in airworthiness management or a related aviation engineering role, including leading a Reliability Program.Experience with B737 Classic or NG aircraft types (or similar).
Demonstrated leadership capability, including influencing stakeholders and coordinating corrective actions.A strong grasp of CASA regulations, reliability metrics, human factors, and safety systems.Proven ability to deliver high-quality reports and lead complex investigations.Qualifications in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Avionics Engineering (Certificate IV or Diploma level minimum).
