I'm partnering with our client to recruit a key technical leadership role based at their Warwick site — a position central to their manufacturing operations.

We're seeking a Manufacturing Technical Services Manager to join this esteemed organization and lead technical innovation, process improvements, and support for new product development across a diverse portfolio, including tablets, capsules, powders, and liquids.

Please note: this role is based in Warwick, QLD, but advertised in Brisbane to attract a wider candidate pool.

About the Role:

Reporting to the General Manager – Production and leading a small technical team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Process optimisation – enhancing manufacturing efficiency, reducing defects, and ensuring successful scale-up for new products.
  • Validation oversight – managing validation activities, protocols, reports, and compliance with the Validation Master Plan.
  • Troubleshooting & technical support – resolving issues related to raw materials, formulation, or manufacturing technology.
  • New product integration – supporting formulation reviews, technology transfer, and process documentation for new launches.
  • Cross-functional leadership – collaborating with QA, Production, and Improvement teams to boost operational performance.
What We're Looking For:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Science or Engineering
  • Significant experience in manufacturing technical services, preferably in pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, or food
  • Practical knowledge of validation, product formulations, and process improvements
  • Experience with OSD, liquids, or packaging is highly valued
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
