About the position
Are you ready to lead in the fast-growing world of solar energy and battery storage? Enerdrive | Dometic is seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Services Manager to drive service excellence and customer satisfaction across our solar panel systems, lithium battery technologies, and energy products. Reporting into our General Manager, Operations this role is based at our Tingalpa office.
This role is your opportunity to shape service strategies, optimize system performance, and enhance our customer experience throughout the APAC region.
Your Main Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Define and execute service strategies that align with our growth goals.
Provide expert guidance on system design, installation, commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance.
Stay ahead of industry trends, compliance standards and emerging technologies.
Team & Operations Management
Lead, mentor and inspire our Technical Support & Service Team.
Champion safety, productivity and continuous improvement.
Conduct audits and implement service quality improvements.
Be the go-to technical expert for escalated issues.
Manage support platforms (Zendesk) with clarity and empathy.
Warranty & Service Delivery
Oversee warranty investigations and product replacements.
Monitor repair workflows and ensure customer satisfaction.
Analyze fault trends to inform product innovation.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Maintain audit ready documentation and reporting.
Lead OH&S and quality control initiatives with precision.

If you've got experience working with solar or battery systems and know your way around technical service operations, this could be the next big step in your career. We're looking for someone with a background in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a similar field, ideally with 3–5 years in technical services. Leading a team comes naturally to you, and you enjoy helping others grow while keeping service running smoothly. You understand how solar panels, lithium batteries, and energy systems work, and you're confident tackling complex technical issues. Certifications like CEC Accreditation or PMP are a bonus, and if you've used platforms like Zendesk or worked with energy monitoring tools, that's great too. Most importantly, you care about delivering great service and working with others to get results.
