**About the role**

As the Planning & Strategy Project Officer, you will:

- Support the delivery of projects to support the Authority's responsibilities and commitments.
- Assist in project governance to support incoordination of portfolio reporting including budgets, schedules, risks and timelines.
- Establish strong stakeholder relationships, internal and external, through effective communication and project working groups, to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Participate in project delivery activities such as workshops and presentations to deliver accurate project communications.
- Provide regular project status updates in line with the Divisional program governance framework and the Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) framework.

**What we're looking for**
- Demonstrated understanding of issues on disaster risk and policy development.
- Experience in undertaking research and analysis and/or supporting development of projects, policy, strategies or guidelines related to nature-based measures.
- Experience with project and or program management processes and tools.
- Experience in government and understanding of policy and legislation is advantageous.
