**About the Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as the **IGA Liquor Account Manager** based in Victoria. The role of IGA Liquor Account Manager is responsible for the success of IGA within the Victorian liquor industry. This high profile, diverse role will see you build innovative promotional programs to drive shopper engagement and loyalty through collaborating with an invested retail committee, national category and marketing teams. Utilising your strong influencing and organisational skills, you will own the supplier relationship while building your brand within the member network, lead the executional requirements with the field sales team and drive market leading retail development within the network.

The IGA Liquor Account Manager will report to the IBA Business Manager.

**In this Role**
- Manage / facilitate discussions with retail committee representatives to ensure that local requirements are captured and fed into the category and marketing functions
- Change all capital R's in retail to lower case
- Foster strong working relationships with the broader Retail network
- Engage with suppliers to build strong plans specific to the IGA network
- Gather and communicate local market intelligence throughout the business on an ongoing basis
- Present quarterly business reviews to the internal state team to demonstrate the challenges and opportunities that will affect performance
- Provide the Operations function / Field sales team (BDM's) the right information in a timely fashion to ensure optimal execution of Retail programs, and maximise service levels and Retail development support to member network

**You're Likely a Match If***
- Team leadership experience / People Management / Coaching experience
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role
- Must have strong experience/background in the Liquor industry
- Excellent presentation skills and effective time management
- Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management experience
- Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and insights
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
