About the Business: InvoCare is a leading provider in the Funeral, Cemetery & Crematoria and Pet Cremations industries.
We are dedicated to our purpose of serving families and are looking for a strategic and results-driven Leasing Manager to join our Property team.
The Opportunity: As the Leasing Manager, you will be crucial in driving InvoCare's network expansion and contributing to the growth of our business: Reporting to the Head of Property Strategy, you will oversee new space leasing for our commercial properties.
This role is accountable for unlocking network growth, ensuring optimal commercial terms, and building excellent relationships with landlords and internal stakeholders.
You will manage new leases either directly or through an appointed leasing agency.
Your responsibilities will also include supporting Property Management with complex negotiations and lease renewals.
For end-of-lease locations, you will be tasked with securing replacement locations or additional tenure.
A key part of the role is assessing the feasibility of new leases, collaborating with General Managers from various business units to understand their operational requirements and growth ambitions, and compiling detailed business cases for approval.
Key Responsibilities: Network Growth: Develop and implement effective leasing strategies to drive space and revenue growth - Conduct market research to identify trends and new site opportunities.
Lease Management: Collaborate with the property manager to seamlessly integrate new premises into the portfolio.
Negotiate complex lease renewals and safeguard our presence at end-of-lease premises.
Approvals and Reporting: Compile business cases for the approval of senior management.
Prepare and present leasing reports, budget forecasts, and performance metrics.
Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, external agencies and internal operational leadership.
Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience in tenant-side leasing or property management, with a proven track record of success.
Sound understanding of commercial leasing practices and regulations.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills to assess market data and leasing performance.
A proactive, solutions-driven approach to problem-solving.
