**Community Support Workers - Adult & Youth Programs**

We are looking for compassionate and motivated Community Support Workers to join our tight knit community.

**We are looking for highly determined and enthusiastic Community Support Workers to support our adult and youth participants across multiple programs.**

**About the role**
- Provide exceptional support and assistance with all tasks of daily living to our adult and youth participants
- Work with participants on 1:1 or 1:2 shifts, on Blossom **Day Options**, **in home **and in **short-term accommodation, Blossom Saturday's, Blossom Stays, Ladies Day (Monday's), Lad's Night (Friday nights)**:

- Following support plans, liaising with therapists, stakeholders, and Blossom staff
- Maintain participant lead support, ensuring their interests and dignity are being respected

**Availability**
- Mornings, afternoons, weekday work, Saturdays and weekend work
- Must be available to work Mondays and weekend overnights. The ideal applicant will show initiative and be passionate about helping people with a disability achieve more, build independence, and access the community

**To be considered for this position you must have**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- DSCI - Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Unrestricted Driver's License and be willing to use personal vehicle
- Medication Administration Training (desired)
- Experience with positive behaviour support and managing behaviours of concern (beneficial not essential with a willingness to learn)
- Up to date Covid-19 vaccination status

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
