**The role**
- We are looking for Multiple Formulators or Mixing Operators. This is Permanent Positions. Based in the North Brisbane. Day Shift (06.00 Am - 02.30 Pm). Monday to Friday
- The major responsibility of this position is for the day-to-day formulation of products with particular emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency and cleanliness, and for the instruction and safety of staff within the work area.**Day to day tasks**
- Set up and operation of formulation and packoff machinery safely and efficiently
- Measure and charge raw materials in accordance with batch documentation
- Carry out formulation as per the Job Sheet.
- Ensure work area is tidy and clean at all times
- Use safety equipment and PPE as required and correctly
- Ensure all raw materials are stored in the correct location
- Must be able to lift 20 - 25 kgs regularly.
- Comply with all general safety directions for the workplace and those prescribed on the Job Sheets.
- Report any plant problems that may occur
- Experience handling dangerous goods and hazardous substances (preferred)
- reliable with have a strong work ethic
- have good communication skills and a can-do attitude
- must be physically fit to lift 25kgs as there is heavy lifting of raw materials involved in the job.
- good attention to detail
- Strong reading, writing, literacy and numeracy skills (able to read and comprehend instructions, process simple numerical calculations and record information legibly)
- able to follow instructions on the recipes exactly as you are mixing and blending small and large industrial batches
