Our Nationally renowned client is seeking an experienced Procurement Lead for an immediate start located in Burswood. This will be working within a busy fast paced team on an ongoing basis with a strong focus on supporting multiple large scale commercial and housing projects.

Our Nationally renowned client is seeking an experienced Procurement Lead for an immediate start located in Burswood. This will be working within a busy fast paced team on an ongoing basis with a strong focus on supporting multiple large scale commercial and housing projects.

**Location: Burswood**

**Hours: Full time hours, Mon - Fri (Flexible start / finish times)**

**Start: ASAP**

**Pay rate: $45-50 p/h + super**

**The Role**

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

- Developing and managing the strategic procurement framework to align with head contracts
- Sourcing and negotiating local and national supplier arrangements to deliver the optimum service, quality, cost, schedule and safety requirements combined with relationship management
- Compiling reports on savings, supply chain efficiencies and positive procurement outcomes.
- Maintaining and building relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors.
- Sourcing new and replacement products and taking initiative to make improvements.
- Preparing documentation by updating internal administration catalogues and systems.
- Creating Purchase requisitions and ensuring the transition to purchase order is completed efficiently
- Lead and contribute to the development of processes and policies as well as maintaining strategic supplier relationships

**Experience Required**
- At least 3+ years demonstrated work experience in Strategic Procurement and/or structured Commercial roles in a large organisation is highly desirable
- Highly developed communication skills including verbal, written and presentation.
- Good understanding of sourcing and buying.
- Strong understanding of contracts
- Experience within Food and Beverage Procurement will be highly regarded
- Experience in Subcontract procurement
- Good work ethic and ability to work within a team.
- Ability to pick up systems quickly and easily.
- Intermediate EXCEL skill level
