YOUR ROLE We are seeking a reliable and organized Transport Coordinator to join our Ground & Rail team in Wattle Grove WA.
This fast-paced, hands-on role involves the safe, compliant, and efficient coordination of metro and regional deliveries, working with CEVA's contract carriers and 3PL partners.
If you are passionate about service delivery, process improvement, and compliance, this is an excellent opportunity to drive operational outcomes and support frontline logistics execution.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Coordinate daily allocation and scheduling of metro and regional transport consignmentsMonitor all deliveries to ensure on-time performance and accurate confirmationsEnsure Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance, including driver training and process documentationCollaborate with Cross-Dock and Transport Operations teams to resolve service issuesAssist with time-slot bookings, pre-delivery audits, and operational administrationCommunicate regularly with internal teams and customers to provide updates and manage expectationsMeet key operational KPIs including DIFOT, CoD, utilization, and cost-per-cube metrics WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate is process-focused, team-oriented, and passionate about transport operations.
You will also bring:Higher School Certificate or equivalent; Certificate IV in Logistics or similar (desirable)Minimum 5 years' experience in a transport, warehousing, or logistics coordination roleKnowledge of transport operations and CoR compliance obligationsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholdersA willingness to work flexibly, including outside standard business hours, to meet business or customer requirementsIn addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
