With such an iconic, essential business in the Australian landscape we are confident that you too will be proud to grow your career at Elders and wear the pink shirt.About the roleWe are looking for a Bank Reconciliation Officer to join the Elders team on a full-time, 18-month fixed term contract.This exciting opportunity, based in Adelaide, will operate as a vital connection between the Elders head office and our national branch network — managing daily cashiering transactions to ensure accurate reconciliation of bank statements.
You'll also oversee our Cash Manager and banking systems, submit and retrieve electronic payment and receipt data, and conduct daily financial reviews.ResponsibilitiesComplete daily and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring data aligns with the General Ledger and resolving any discrepanciesManage outsourced cheque handling, electronic funds transfers, and direct creditsSupport timely processing and accuracy of all banking transactionsEngage with Elders branches nationally to investigate and resolve reconciliation issuesOversee data submission and retrieval in banking systemsMaintain strong internal relationships to ensure financial reporting accuracyAbout youExperience in accounting or clerical finance proceduresExposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (desirable)Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and sound knowledge of Word and OutlookStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent oral communication and interpersonal abilitiesHighly organised, with strong attention to detailAbout EldersElders are proud to be the last Australian-listed major agribusiness.
