About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Operations Manager to oversee the delivery, integration, and sustainment of secure, high-performance ICT systems in support of mission planning capabilities. This key leadership role is responsible for managing both the technical direction and day-to-day operations of network and server environments across fixed and deployed Defence contexts.">
Responsibilities:
">
Lead and mentor a team of technicians in the development, integration, and sustainment of software, hardware, data, tools, and processes for mission planning systems in fixed and deployed environments.
">
Conduct performance reviews, set team objectives, and foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
">
Oversee the maintenance of physical server and networking hardware, ensuring high availability and performance.
">
Manage the development and maintenance of system configurations for laptops and servers.
">
Coordinate the installation, configuration, testing, and deployment of software and security updates.
">
Provide technical leadership for resolving data support issues and ensuring mission systems meet operational requirements.
">
Support Defence strategic networks, ensuring compliance with security and accreditation standards.
">
Identify, manage, and mitigate program and technical risks within the operations scope.
">
Review, verify, and enhance documentation for development and sustainment.
">
Ensure project deliverables are met on time and within scope.
">

Key Requirements:

Defence ICT environments, including Defence Protected Environment (DPE) and Defence Secret Environment (DSE).
">
MS Windows Imaging.
">
MS Windows security.
">
MS Windows Server Platforms.
">
Technical/Admin level experience with client operating systems from MS Windows.
">
MS Windows Office products.
">
Software Scripting.
">
Defence ICT Security Accreditation requirements.
