**Description**:
About the role

Working on-site in our global HQ at Warriewood you will report to the Procurement Manager in this fast paced role. Great opportunity to develop your skills under a supportive manager with a wealth of experience. You will be responsible for assisting the procurement manager in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing finished products, raw materials and components. Supporting the Procurement Manager in enabling profitable growth through Supply Optimisation.

**Responsibilities**:
Identify and categorise basic spend data that enables each Brand to improve its COGs.
Assist in the procurement process from supplier selection to negotiation of commercial terms.
Contribute to cost reduction efforts through efficient sourcing and negotiation.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
Assist in evaluating supplier performance, compliance and security of supply.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and present monthly results.
Prioritizing procurement tasks based on manager's direction.
Develop and implement second supplier contingency plans across multiple Brands/products.
Assist in NPD projects.
Provide administrative support to the Supply Chain Team as needed.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About you

You enjoy finding efficiencies and cost-savings, especially through data analysis. You enjoy team work but also enjoy diving into spreadsheets and working autonomously.

Other skills and experience that will support your success in this role:
Bachelor's or certificate in data analysis or equivalent experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Procurement Assistant or similar role.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience working with procurement software
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of FMCG/TGA industries desireable
Previous experience with JD Edwards desireable
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and data quality essential
