The Jazz Corner Hotel
is looking for
several skilled and passionate Cooks
to join our culinary team. Working in a vibrant boutique hotel environment, home to the renowned
Bird's Basement,
you'll prepare and present high-quality dishes for breakfast, in-room dining, and event service, ensuring every plate leaves the kitchen at its best.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistent, high standard.
Assist in breakfast, room service, and event menus.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
Support stock management, rotation, and waste minimisation.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Cook, preferably in hotels, cafés, or restaurants.
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
A positive, team-focused attitude.
Availability for early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.
