In Jan '22, we opened Gage Roads Freo, our 1500 capacity brewpub, located in the Fremantle Port, on the Walyalup Waterfront. **Description**:

- Assist in managing daily venue operations, ensuring efficiency and high service standards.
- Oversee staff training, development, and performance to ensure a motivated and engaged team.
- Help to implement operational procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure excellent guest experiences by addressing feedback and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with stock management, ordering, and inventory control.
- Support the Venue Manager in planning and executing marketing, events, and promotions.
- Contribute to creating a positive and collaborative team culture across all levels of the venue.
- Act as a point of contact for any operational concerns or escalated guest issues in the absence of the Venue Manager.

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role (assistant venue manager, assistant general manager, or supervisory position) within a large-scale hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety standards within the hospitality industry.
- Passion for craft beer, food, and creating an unforgettable guest experience.
- Experience with financial management, including budgeting, ordering, and cost control.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
