The role

We are seeking an experienced "Hands on" Manager to grow and lead the Pymble Learn to Swim program. This position is responsible for making sure the "Pymble Swimming" reputation is not only maintained but enhanced and will continuously ensure it aligns with industry best practices and offers a high-quality learning experience for participants.

The role will ensure seamless integration of pathways from Learn to Swim into the Pymble Squad swimming programs including both competitive and recreational streams.

The Operations Manager will be required to manage internal school stakeholder swimming requirements including the Junior school co-curricular swimming program and the Early Learning Centre integration with Pymble Swimming. The role is a full-time position and will be required to work on Sundays as part of our flexible working arrangements around operational hours.

Our kind of team member

You will demonstrate the following attributes and capabilities:

- 2-3 years leadership and Swim School operational experience in medium to larger format Swim school
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Technical skills and knowledge relating to swimming progressions from infants to stroke development and Mini Squad levels
- Pool plant room certified - desirable
- Experience operating within a school environment - desirable
- Relevant AustSwim or Swim Australia swim teaching qualifications incorporating Infants, Preschool Learn to Swim, School age Learn to Swim and Stroke Development levels
- First Aid and CPR qualifications
- Willingness to support and promote the ethos and values of the College
