Pollard English Language Centre offers courses in General English-Upper Intermediate level students,
Pollard English is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced English Language Teaching professionals to provide casual relief training.
Note that this is to build up a small pool of casual relief trainers and you will only be contacted if appropriate casual work becomes available.

Selection Criteria
Qualifications (essential)
- Three-year full-time degree or equivalent.
- Recognised TESOL certificate (100 contact hours + at least six hours supervised and assessed practice teaching in TESOL) or a degree/diploma in education with TESOL method.
- Experience
- At least 1 year experience in English Language teaching, preferably at a recognised and quality endorsed Australian institution.
- Experience teaching English for Academic Purposes courses desirable.

Current timetable includes:
Mon-Thurs - 3:30pm to 7:30pm

Friday - 8am-3:30pm

If you are available to provide relief training for any of these shifts, then please indicate your preference.

- Proven ability teaching English as a second language in a multi-cultural classroom.
- Experience in teaching in an online environment using Teams and/or Zoom.
- Willingness to actively participate in professional development and contribute positively to a culture of continuous learning.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and an ability to lead and work within teams.
- A strong commitment to a customer-service based approach to education provision.

Pay: $50.00 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
