**Who are we looking for?**

We're looking for an experienced **Electrical Designer **to join the **Property & Buildings **team to enhance delivery and support the growth of our presence throughout the region. Working with the wider Electrical team, your role will be to deliver detailed design and documentation on a variety of projects within the Building Services sector.

Based in **Brisbane **, the core focus of this role will be to contribute towards carrying out professional service tasks using Revit and other design/drafting software of appropriate scope and complexity from concept stage through to construction.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Supporting project teams on a variety of projects within health, defence, infrastructure and buildings sectors;
- Preparation of drawings, models and designs in both 2D and 3D format to meet client specifications, project briefs and tenders; and
- Collaboration with other team members to ensure all design elements are considered.

**What you will bring to the team**
- Delivering integrated project deliverables exclusively in Autodesk Revit.
- Responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the model and project deliverables.
- Coordinating designs with Building Services, Architecture and other engineering disciplines.
- Mentoring peers and providing technical documentation, modelling, and engineering advice.
- Previous consulting experience across a range of project types in the health, defence, transport/rail, education, mining and commercial projects sectors;
- Detailed design and documentation of electrical services; including electrical power reticulation and distribution systems, lighting, controls, communications, earthing, security, audio visual and fire detection systems;
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and competency when creating, editing & managing Revit families (essential);
- Previous experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy environment;
- Excellent written and verbal skills;
- Previous experience using visual programming tools such as Dynamo and/or Grasshopper preferable;
- Leading Coordination and Collaboration utilizing the Federated Model in the following platforms: Autodesk Navisworks and BIM360/ACC Model Coordination.
- Collaboration and liaison with other engineering teams & groups to ensure all design elements are considered.
- Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree Engineering (Electrical).
