Electrical Design Lead

We are seeking an Electrical Design Lead to drive the development and delivery of high-voltage electrical designs for industrial and renewable energy projects. This role is ideal for a technically proficient engineer with experience in both primary and secondary design.

This position reports to the Engineering Lead and supports the delivery of complex power engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver detailed primary and secondary electrical designs for HV substations and industrial power systems.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Provide peer reviews and support junior engineers.
  • Drive innovation in electrical design practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and solutions-focused electrical engineer with a strong foundation in delivering complex design projects.

Candidate Requirements
  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in HV electrical design (33-66kV).
  • Proficient in protection/secondary and primary design.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
