Electrical Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and reviewing electrical engineering design work.

You will produce high-quality drawings and documentation, prepare design estimates, and coordinate with clients to ensure project success.

As an Electrical Design Specialist, you will also solve complex technical issues, ensure electrical designs comply with regulations and standards, and mentor junior engineers to help them grow in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed electrical design plans and specifications for projects of various sizes and complexity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, scientists, specialists, designers, and drafters, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to stakeholders, highlighting the benefits and feasibility of electrical design solutions.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to project teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of design revisions, changes, and approvals, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, with 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, theories, and practices, as well as proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
