**About Us**
Brite is a profit for purpose social enterprise that provides training and employment opportunities across the community, including for people with disabilities. Brite is a NDIS provider and has operated in Broadmeadows for over 40 years. We currently employ 130 people with disability. In addition, we offer a wide range of support services to further develop our employees' capabilities to access improved social and economic opportunities in the community.
**About the role**
The Employee Engagement Facilitator works within the Service Delivery Team to assist our supported team members to achieve their vocational goals.
In particular, the Employee Engagement Facilitator provides:
- Assistance with identification and achievement of supported team member vocational goals, both within Brite and open employment aspirations.
- Supporting supported team members in their daily work readiness requirements.
- Supporting the operational imperatives of the organisation.
- Develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external contacts.
**Position responsibilities**
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist and support supported team members to meet their obligations as employees.
- Work with operational staff and service delivery staff in order to meet both supported team member and operational goals/targets.
- Participate as required within the Service Delivery team to administer annual Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) and 6 monthly EAP reviews. (Including the assessment of supported team members, conducting meetings, and facilitating supported Team Member goals).
- Identify and assist in the delivery of supported team members training needs across the organisation.
- Assist in the development and delivery of 'off the job' training as required.
- Provide general work-related assistance to supported team members where required, with a particular focus on matters arising on the floor.
- Participate as required with supported team members in achieving their open employment goals.
- Accurate and up to date administration including case notes on client progress against goals, funding requirements, periodic reporting, recording absences and individual risk assessments.
- Maintaining clear professional boundaries with supported team members.
- Support the Wage Assessment process as it pertains to supported team members.
- Complying with all relevant legislation and codes of conduct.
- Ensuring work health and safety guidelines are adhered to.
- Maintaining currency with NDIS knowledge and requirements.
- Working within the guidelines of NDIS and escalating relevant information to appropriate manager.
- Liaise with external agencies/support networks regarding support issues as required and in a professional manner.
- Support all processes through relevant administrative and planning tasks.
- Perform other reasonable duties as directed by the Assistant Manager - Employment and Training.
- Foster a culture of co-operation and collaboration and develop an awareness of organisational imperatives outside area of responsibility.
**Core responsibilities**
- Identify Supported Team Member employment goals and actively support their progress to achieving these goals.
- Share concepts and ideas appropriately and effectively.
- Conducting and completing the interview, induction, work trial and wage assessment process for all new supported employee. This will include interviews, reference and police checks, periodic reviews during the work trial and competent use of wage assessment tool.
- Actively support Supported Team Members to maintain their employment.
- Functioning as part of a team responsible for meeting and improving performance and achieving compliance against the NDIS Practice Standards.
- Assessing and managing risk and behaviours.
- Undertaking other duties as required by Management.

- Build high quality relationships with other service providers and clients formal and informal supports.
**Team performance**
- Lead by example, foster and support a results-focused, highly collaborative, and professional team culture.
- Work collaboratively with team members.
- Share concepts and ideas in a way that clients and colleagues easily understand.
**Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)**:
- Mitigate the risk to all staff, visitors, employees, and participants by demonstrating compliance with OHS requirements and where required by engaging in consultation with staff to ensure risk management planning, incident reporting and management and safe work practices are implemented.
