**About this role**
Empower CCU staff by providing innovative education and fostering collaboration among Clinical Educators across the hospital. Maintain up to date nursing practices and specific patient cohort skills, driving educational progress while ensuring high nursing standards. Work closely with the Clinical Manager to maximize the efficient use of resources.

You will be expected to execute CCU education programs, address knowledge gaps for all staff, offer bedside support for GNP's and postgraduate ICU students, contribute to Critical Care Manual review, and engage in hospital wide ALS and BLS education and assessment.

- Post Graduate Diploma in Intensive Care Nursing or equivalent
- At least 5 years clinical experience working in ICU
- Experience in education and/or a qualification in adult education (or working towards)

You will need to demonstrate the following:

- Core nursing values: patient-centred care, trust, respect
- Strong leadership, communication and clinical skills
- Proficiency in NSQHSS and ACCCN Standards
- Advanced knowledge in critically ill patient care
- Ability to plan and execute performance improvement projects
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Act as a competent nursing role model and mentor new employees

**Hours**:Permanent part time role - 60 hrs per fortnight (Flexibility in start times to suit unit needs)
