Advanced Clinical Educator

Job Summary:
- An experienced clinical educator is sought to lead and develop learning programs for nurses in a surgical/orthopaedic setting.
We require a qualified nurse with a strong background in education and passion for teaching.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and coordinating structured learning initiatives for nursing staff and students.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing expert clinical teaching, orientation, skill development, and professional support for all nursing personnel.
- Developing and delivering comprehensive nursing education programs.
- Participating in hospital orientation and mandatory training provision.
- Teaching in various nursing courses within and external to the healthcare district.
Requirements:
- Hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and relevant post-registration qualifications or such education deemed appropriate by the employer.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous quality improvement, and risk management.
Work Environment:
- Join our dynamic team on Ward 6, our surgical/orthopaedic ward.
This opportunity allows you to contribute to the Ryde Hospital Redevelopment project, which includes new health facilities and enhanced services.
