An exciting opportunity to provide your technical expertise and specialist advice to users about the network's functionality.

4-month contract with a high possibility of extension.

**Your new role**
- Assist with the planning, development, installation and configuration of the department's information and related technology (IT) networks.
- Perform Business as Usual (BAU) operational tasks by providing audits and reports ensuring the corporate network environment.
- Provide reports on corporate network environment load and capacity, and will run performance tests
- Undertakes routine and complex installation and maintenance for the telecommunications network.
- Contribute to continuous improvement for telecommunications services.
- Monitor the performance of the organisation's telecommunication networks, systems and equipment, identifies complex problems and initiates action to resolve them.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience working in a complex, varied and geographically distributed information and related technology (IT) environment, demonstrating ability to explore various possibilities and support in generating innovative open standards-based solutions relating to IT networks and telecommunications systems and services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT service management practices (for example: ITIL).
- Working knowledge of industry standard security frameworks (for example: ASD Essential 8, ASD ISM, NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO/IEC 27000-series) and IT service management practices (for example: ITIL)
- A current "C" class driver's licence valid within the State of Western Australia.
