Asahi Beverages has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced UX Design Lead to join our team. The UX Design Lead will play a critical role in shaping new ventures within our Group Disruption function. Reporting into the Disruption Leadership Team, you will primarily be responsible for the creation and delivery of strategies that will lead to world class consumer, customer and employee experiences enabled by technology and data.

This is your opportunity to utilise your passion and existing skillset to drive our organisation forward by building human-centered design thinking capability in the business. You will reframe business challenges through the lens of customers, consumers or end users and delivers meaningful outcomes.

**Other Responsibilities**
- Translate business, user needs and technology constraints into solution concepts that are meaningful, easy to use, and engaging.
- Implementing frameworks providing in-depth insights into the user's needs and motivations.
- Facilitate workshops to answer critical business questions through design thinking, rapid prototyping, and testing ideas with customers/consumers.
- Lead and support the discovery phase of project lifecycles, incorporating activities such as workshops, user and stakeholder interviews, analytics, audits, benchmarking, quantitative and qualitative research.
- Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis, leveraging user-centered design best practices, empath for the user and insight generation from analysing both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Interpret data and qualitative feedback to shape project direction including the creation of journey maps, personas, storyboards, prototypes, wireframes and usability testing.
- Collaborating with the Disruption team and multiple other teams within Asahi, bringing a UX lens into the Disruption team's portfolio of projects. Working to ingrain a range of different techniques that increase stakeholder skills in observation, understanding, and analysis.
- Supporting the business through change initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

**About You**
- You possess professional experience as a UX researcher, designer, information architect, interaction designer, user interface designer or similar role.
- You possess a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- You can demonstrate knowledge and experience in marketing, cognitive science, psychology, economics, or information science, along with a robust grasp of user experience research and design.
- You demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a deep understanding of user perspectives.
- You have the desire to collaborate and support across the team; you are not afraid to roll your sleeves up
- You thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable working with agility across multiple projects and categories.
- You possess strong computer literacy skills ideally experienced with a design toolset (Microsoft suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Visio).
- You possess strong experience in implement design strategy and principles in order to create best practice in how problems are solved.
- You are a creative and strategic thinker and can develop innovative solutions to problems with leading-edge design.
- Start-up venture experience or an entrepreneurial spirit highly regarded.
