About the Role
The Senior Leadership Team is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead the boarding community at our school. This pivotal role involves overseeing the overall leadership and management of the boarding houses, ensuring a caring, nurturing, and supportive environment for students.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Provide vision and direction for the boarding team, fostering a culture of excellence and student wellbeing.
Leadership of the Boarding Team: Supervise and develop staff, promoting teamwork and collaboration to achieve common goals.
Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff, promoting a sense of belonging and connection within the boarding community.
Workplace Health & Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to policies and procedures.
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education or a related field.
Working Rights for Australia (or eligible to gain).
Proven ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and the broader school community.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices.
Able to inspire and engage students, fostering a love for learning and academic excellence.
